Profile in brief

I commenced my training in 2001 and found the style to be fast and effective and immediately wanted to sign up and become a member. I started training 2 to 3 times a week and soon found my self going up through the ranks.

Although the training was hard (and still is) I took the hits and bruises and pressed on. In 2006 Sijo Paul Treacy promoted me to Asst Instructor
 and in 2009 I was graded to Black Belt 1st Degree by sifu Banos Geoghiou 5th degree and Sijo Paul Treacy 8th degree. I am the first female to gain
 this grade in the LKD Fighting System, and am presently working towards my 2nd degree.

  I believe that anything worth having takes hard work and perseverance, I have kept up my training and study of the LKD system as much as time allows. Part of my duties at the studio is helping and teaching the adult and children’s classes which I enjoy immensely. Over the years I have taken part
in Martial art demonstrations and been part of the Demo team. I have also appeared in the local press for my achievements. I believe that any woman regardless of size or strength who wishes to learn a practical and powerful form of self defence will be amazed in what they can learn in a very short time while studying the LKD fighting system.
